Discover the Oka Basket Willow, a traditional French basketry willow found at Oka Abbey in Quebec. This purpurea willow variety is great for creating baskets and structures, utilizing its thin and lengthy rods. By coppicing in the early spring, the rods are able to grow an impressive 2 meters (6-8 feet) by the end of the season. The rods boasts a beautiful brownish green hue with a subtle touch of purple, which transforms into a warm brown upon drying.

Oka Basket Willow is a versatile and deer-resistant option for gardens in wildlife areas. Whether used for living fences, garden structures, or other projects, its functionality and beauty make it an ideal choice for your landscape.
