How to Order

Please read the technical descriptions for each plant to be well informed of the optimal hardiness zone and planting conditions required for each species. Preparing a proper planting site and determining if the Plant Hardiness Zone of your location is suitable. If you need any help or have questions feel free to contact us.

Shipping Information

Once you purchase your desired cultivars, you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure you receive this email: if you find this in your junk mailbox please add us to your contact list so you do not miss any other important emails from us, as we will be emailing you by late April to choose the most suitable date of shipping for your climate, ranging from the end of April to the end of May.

Your trees will be shipped on a Monday to minimize time in freight and should arrive within one to seven business days depending on your location and preferred method (Expedited Parcel).

  • Alberta, Saskatchewan & BC* orders are received in 2 to 4 business days.
  • Manitoba around 4 to 5 business days.
  • Eastern Canada/Yukon between 5 to 7 business days.

PLEASE NOTE: There might be unexpected shipping delays out of our control, this rarely happens - but we prepare for this and pack your plants with expert care - our trees have successfully survived 10+ days in shipment delays without problems. We keep an eye on your shipment tracking. Shipments can be insured, email us to inquire about this.

An email notification with a tracking number will be emailed on your chosen shipping date so you can track your package and pick it up promptly at your PO Box office or retrieve it from your doorstep.

Our preferred mail courier is Canada Post. We ship from mid-April to mid-May each spring depending on snowmelt at our planting sites. Fall shipping can be done on request but is not recommended and the warranty will be voided.

It is recommended to increase your order size to offset your shipping cost, combining an order with a friend or garden community member could be advantageous to you.

(*) Please read below if you are from British Columbia.

Local Pick-Ups

Dear local friends, we can accommodate a local pick-up on the following terms: you go ahead and place your order, and yes you will pay the shipping cost (this will be refunded after pick-up).

For Local Pick-Ups, please email us so we can make a note on your file! Spring shipping season is incredibly busy for us, so you must be available to pick up during certain times/days. You must be able to pick up at the nursery. The address is only shared right before pick-up time. Because we are incredibly busy during shipping season (which is also our grafting, digging, planting and propagating season) we cannot give any tours. Just a quick pick-up to save you the shipping cost. This service is only available to customers who live in Two Hills and surrounding counties.

Life gets busy, if you cannot pick them up after all we will ship them out as this is often the quickest, easiest and most cost-effective manner to get your trees to you! Either way, we will communicate this with you and find the option that suits you best.

A refund for the shipping cost will thus be refunded after pick-up has occurred.

Shipping to BC

Due to strict CFIA regulations, we are prohibited from importing certain cultivars to BC (like apple trees), therefore you will not be able to order these specific cultivars (it will give you an error message at checkout). We still have loads of great items you can order! Email us anytime if you have further questions or inquiries - we are happy to help.

Sorry, but we do not ship to the USA.
