Krasnobokaya, meaning "red on the sunny side" in Russian, is a medium-sized pear with buttery green skin and a characteristic rosy blush where the sun kisses it.
Averaging 180 grams per fruit, this cultivar offers delightfully sweet flavour with a delicate pear taste that's hard to beat. The flesh is exceptionally juicy with a luxurious buttery texture that melts in your mouth, while the soft, tender skin makes for easy eating.
Maturing in mid to late September, these pears are ready to harvest when the top of the fruit yields gently to pressure. Once picked, they're excellent keepers: expect over a month of quality storage in your refrigerator, and up to two months in proper cold storage.
A wonderful choice for pear lovers, and one you won't want to miss - we have limited stock available this year!
